The World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) is still well over a month away, but Apple has already managed to sneak in another event. Tomorrow, on May 7 at 7 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and 10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), the business was going to reveal the most recent additions to the iPad range. A new iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and a keyboard case are among the items that are currently on that list, as stated by the rumor mill.
Perhaps even more surprising is the possibility that the event will also mark the introduction of the new M4 chip. This would come only a little more than six months after the firm introduced three new M3 chips all at once. What is the rationale behind the rapid silicon refresh? To begin, there is a rumor going around that Apple debuted the M3 chip later than anticipated (most likely because of problems with the supply chain), which resulted in the firm having to announce all three processors at the same event.
Consider Microsoft’s planned unveiling of its own third-party silicon at Build at the end of May, and you’ll understand why the company chose not to wait. Given the rumored “industry-leading performance” of the Microsoft/ARM processors, an announcement would become even more crucial, potentially challenging Apple’s position. Is it possible that a new chip will also lead to new Macs? Although it would be a brief refresh cycle for the current crop, it is not completely unreasonable to expect that to happen. 
The most likely releases are the new iPad Pro with an OLED display, the iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display, and the addition of new motions for the Apple Pencil.
