Based on these leaks, it seems that the starting price for the iPhone 16 will be around $799, which is equivalent to approximately ₹67,100. The iPhone 16 Plus, with its expanded screen size, is anticipated to be priced at approximately $899, equivalent to around ₹75,500. If you’re interested in the more premium options, the iPhone 16 Pro could come with a hefty price of $1,099 (approximately ₹92,300) for the 256GB variant. The high-end iPhone 16 Pro Max may have a starting price of $1,199, which is roughly $1,00,700 for the equivalent storage capacity.
These prices are specific to the US market, and it is expected that the iPhone 16 series will have a higher price in India, as is typically the case. The pricing for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus is expected to be similar to the iPhone 15 series, as the new models are said to have only minor upgrades. On the horizon, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are poised to receive substantial upgrades. Anticipate notable improvements in the rear camera system, design, chipset, AI capabilities, battery life, and display size. These enhancements may result in increased prices for these models. 
According to a report from Economic Daily, it seems that Apple is considering incorporating high-end moulded glass lenses into their upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models. The aim behind this move is to make the devices lighter and thinner and to improve the optical zoom capabilities. These high-quality components are expected to raise the manufacturing costs, potentially leading to a higher price tag for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max compared to their previous models.
