Oura, a manufacturer of smart fitness rings, made the announcement today that it would be collaborating with Amazon to sell its goods via the online retail platform.
The company announced that starting this month, it would start selling both of its rings on Amazon, Horizon in six different finishes and Heritage in four different finishes. To begin, the Heritage ring may be purchased for $299, while the Horizon ring can be purchased for $399. Heritage rings have a flat top, but Horizon rings do not have that feature. This is the most notable distinction between the two types of rings.
There are also additional accessories that Oura is offering, such as its size kit, which costs $10, and chargers, which cost $59.
As the level of competition in the smart ring market continues to rise, the firm is making efforts to broaden its presence in the retail and online shopping sectors. All of Oura’s goods were made available for purchase on BestBuy.com and in more than 850 BestBuy retail shops throughout the United States in April 2023. At the end of October 2023, the firm extended that collaboration to include more than 124 locations throughout the country of Canada.
Ultrahuman, a company located in India, has created two rings since Oura unveiled the Oura Ring 3, one of which was Ultrahuman Air, which was released in the previous year. Samsung first introduced its very own Oura rival ring in the month of January.
While this is going on, Oura has been working to incorporate new features into its current product lineup in order to make mobile devices more useful. Oura introduced the Circles function in the previous year with the intention of encouraging users to share their statistics with their friends and family. The company earlier this year introduced resilience as a new function. It is designed to determine the amount of stress that consumers are able to persevere through.
