Telegram is adding “view-once” video and audio messages, the option to pause recording while transmitting, and read-time controls in its January feature drop.
The app enabled “view-once” images and videos in one-on-one conversations in September 2023. The startup is adding voice and video messaging. Users may press the mic symbol to record and then tap the “view-once” icon to let the receiver hear or see the video message.
Telegram is now adding the ability to pause and resume voice and video recording from the same menu.
Telegram now lets you see when a private chat recipient sees your message. This function is disableable in settings.
The corporation is also adding premium features. Premium users can hide their read time but see others’ if they share it openly.
Plus, paying customers may choose who sends them communications first. Choose “Everyone” or “My Contacts and Premium User.”
Telegram added channel-finding and customization options last month. Later in the month, it launched battery-saving end-to-end encrypted calls. Bots may now respond to messages, manage responses, quotations, and links, and reply to other conversations or subjects on the company’s bot platform.
