During the iPad event, Apple introduced a new Magic Keyboard.

During its iPad-centric event on Monday, Apple unveiled an upgraded version of its Magic Keyboard, which serves as a keyboard accessory for the iPad.

According to Apple, the Magic Keyboard has undergone a significant overhaul to become smaller and lighter. It now has a function row that allows for easy access to functions like screen brightness, volume adjustment, and play/pause. Furthermore, Apple has equipped the redesigned Magic Keyboard with aluminium palm rests and an expanded trackpad. Additionally, Apple claims that the device is more responsive, thanks to the inclusion of haptic feedback and a USB-C connector for charging.

This is the first significant update to the Magic Keyboard since its introduction in 2020. Furthermore, with the inclusion of a function row, the device is now equivalent in terms of features to its counterpart, the Magic Keyboard Folio.

The new Magic Keyboard is available in two sizes, specifically designed for the 11-inch iPad Pro and the 13-inch model. Black and white are the two colour options available for it. You can pre-order the next generation Magic Keyboard today for the same price as the previous version: $299 for the 11-inch model and $349 for the 13-inch model. It will be available in shops next week.

Additionally, a recently released Smart Folio specifically for the iPad Air is available. The new model has a magnetic attachment and offers a wider range of viewing angles, providing more versatility compared to the previous version.

Charcoal grey, light violet, denim, and sage are the available colours for the Smart Folio. The 11-inch iPad Air model costs $79, while the 13-inch model costs $99.

The event on Tuesday featured additional announcements, including the launch of a new iPad Air with an advanced M2 chip and a 13-inch size option and a new iPad Pro with a completely redesigned M4 chip and stacked OLED screens for a more detailed and realistic display. Additionally, they unveiled a professional edition of the Apple Pencil featuring enhanced sensors and an updated version of the Magic Keyboard. You can view the entire video here:
