Introducing the latest addition from Roku: the Pro Series TVs, now available for purchase.

Roku recently announced that the United States can now purchase its Pro Series TVs, a collection of premium televisions.

Commencing today, Roku Pro Series TVs are available for purchase at Best Buy stores and online. There are three different sizes available for selection: 55, 65, and 75 inches. The prices range from $899 to $1,699.

The Pro Series of Roku-branded smart TVs features a sleek and slim design that allows for easy flush-mounting on the wall. (Additionally, Roku offers a wall mount kit available for purchase at $100.) New side-firing speakers elevate the audio experience, resulting in enhanced sound clarity, immersive spatial effects, and richer bass. The Pro Series offers a cinematic viewing experience with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with 4K QLED displays and local dimming, just like the Roku Plus TVs.

Alongside the launch of the Pro Series, Roku has also unveiled upcoming software updates for all Roku TVs, designed to elevate the viewing experience.

The “Smart Picture” function is an impressive feature that employs advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to automatically optimize picture quality based on the displayed content. When watching a basketball game, Roku TV automatically detects it as sports content and activates Sports mode. This mode optimizes the brightness and colors to ensure you have the best viewing experience.

“Consider Roku as the smart TV assistant that effortlessly chooses the optimal picture mode for you,” Lei Yu, a product lead at Roku, elaborated during a demo briefing with the press last week.

The default setting for Smart Picture mode is on, but you have the option to customize your preferences in the settings. As an illustration, you have the option to instruct it to automatically fine-tune the contrast while watching movies.

Roku has also introduced “Backdrops,” a stylish background that replaces the plain blank screen on your television when it’s not in use. There is a wide selection of art pieces available for you to choose from, along with the option to upload a collection of your favorite family photos.

In the near future, Smart Picture and Backdrops will be available on all Roku TV models in the United States.

Additional enhancements to the Roku TV experience include the introduction of IMDb ratings and trailers directly on a TV show or movie’s details page. Additionally, we have enhanced the Save Lists feature by adding new badges to the upper right-hand corner of titles. These badges serve to indicate price drops or the availability of new episodes or seasons.

Finally, Roku has shared information about the upgraded Voice Remote Pro, including a larger battery and the convenience of USB-C charging. This Roku remote features motion-activated backlit buttons, setting it apart from others.

Additionally, there are two newly added buttons: a Live TV Guide button for easy navigation to over 400 free live, linear channels, local news, and live sports, and a programmable shortcut button that allows you to customize it for quick access to search, connect Bluetooth headphones, or tune in to your favorite channel.

Our top-tier series includes the new remote, which features a dedicated remote-finder button conveniently located on the side of the TV. We also offer it as a separate accessory for $30. Other major retailers will make the remote available in the coming months.
